Bi·Su is the pesticide prepared by imidacloprid and bacillus thuringiensis. Imidacloprid is a kind of nitro methylene typed pesticide which is an acting body of a receiver of nicotinic acid acetylcholinesterase, is capable of disturbing the movement nervous system of pests and blocking transmission of chemical signals and does not have the problem of cross resistance. Imidacloprid is used for preventing and controlling tobacco aphides and other resistant pests. The bacillus thuringiensis in alkaline mid guts erodes cellular tissues of intestinal walls, causes intestinal tracts paralyzed in several minutes, makes the pests stop eating and quickly damages the inner membranes of intestinal tracts, and the bacillus thuringiensis enters hemolymph tissues to cause septicemia, so that the pests are died due to hunger and septicemia. The product is commonly used for preventing and controlling oriental tobacco budworms, tobacco aphides and wheat aphides.
